This shot was taken last summer when we were in Philadelphia for the NMRA convention. The downtown core of this city hosts some pretty amazing architecture, like this shot of the City Hall. The more one looks at a building like this, the more there is to discover. Simply amazing the effort put into almost unnoticeable details.

Just like a model railroad.

Yes, its been over a month since the last daily picture, but with no layout under construction, there isn’t much train related stuff to take pictures of!

Here is a shot of my new office/workbench set up in the second floor of the house. It will be a few months before the new building is up, so I set up a temporary work area in a choice spot in the house. The view is great! Saw a couple deer out there yesterday.
